DeskAlerts Control Panel presents a very easy to use interface, that is so liked by all of our customers. You don't need to know about the software to send alerts. Just click the 'Send Alert' button and follow the wizard.
Easy to roll-out
DeskAlerts can be easily implemented within several hours time for your company. You need to install the DeskAlerts Server by following through few straight-forward steps and then configure your DeskAlerts Client using a configuration wizard. That's all. You don't need to configure firewalls or proxies. DeskAlerts uses a standard HTTP port 80. Moreover, the DeskAlerts Client automatically sets up all internet settings from your Internet Explorer settings. If you experience any problems during installation, we offer free installation service. It means that you can provide our specialist with access to your alert server and software will be installed within 24 hours.
Send messages from anywhere
DeskAlerts Server has a web-based Control Panel. This means that you don't need any other client software than a web browser. You can access your account and send alerts from any workstation. You can send alerts even when you're out of the office and on the road.
Message scheduling
You can schedule your alerts to be sent on appointed date. Moreover, you can set dates when this alert is valid. For example, your mail server will be down from 2 p.m. till 4 p.m. and you schedule the alert for this time to inform all your employees. This alert will be received only by those users who will be working at their PCs right within those hours. So, if someone logs in at 4:01 pm, they won't receive this alert.
Instant surveys
DeskAlerts allows you to conduct surveys and receive results within minutes. It's not email, it cannot be skipped, and all employees will answer it instantly.
Multimedia content
Your alerts can contain not only text but images, animation, video, flash presentations, audio or any attached document. It's convenient to communicate with your employees in a more natural way, speak with them or show them what's important.
Message tracking
With DeskAlerts you can get track how many message were sent, how many were opened and clicked. Just open "Statistic" tab in Control Panel to get all the information.
Mobile devices support
DeskAlerts can send alerts to mobile devices via Text Messaging. You can notify your employees in case of emergency even if they're away from their computers or your company experiences network or power failures.
Active Directory/LDAP support
If your company uses Active Directory, DeskAlerts can be implemented without any problems. To install all DeskAlerts Clients you just need to change group policy. All DeskAlerts Clients will automatically get information about current users. DeskAlerts Server database will be synchronized with your Active Directory in real-time. If you change users in the Directory, they will be automatically changed in the DeskAlerts system.
Message history
All DeskAlerts Clients keep message history. Your employees can quickly search and reference the alerts they received.
User groups
All your users can be grouped. DeskAlerts supports multi-level groups. You can separate users by offices or departments and send information which is relevant only for this group.
User tracking
Using the DeskAlerts Control Panel you can track your users, see last activity or who's online now.
Personalized alerts
DeskAlerts supports 3 types of alerts: broadcast, group or personal.
RSS support
DeskAlerts allows you to subscribe your users to RSS feeds. You can send an RSS to all users, subscribe each group to different RSS feeds or add personal RSS feeds. Users can't unsubscribe from these feeds; only you control the subscription.
Message templates
Use message templates to quickly design your alerts. You can fully control your alerts's look: your logo, colors, images etc.
