9 Internal Communication Apps for Business | DeskAlerts

There are many ways you can improve internal communications within your organization, and one of the best ways is to embrace and harness new technology.

 

 

There’s an app for just about anything you can imagine these days, so you’d have to be living under a rock if you thought that there weren’t apps specifically designed to help improve workplace culture and communications.

These are some of the top apps on the market today for internal communication:

1. Slack

Slack is a messaging and collaboration system used by businesses to help teams work together on projects and share knowledge, ideas, information and files in one contained space. It provides a range of channels as well as the ability to send direct messages.

2. BlogIn

Some companies like sharing information by way of an internal company blog. BlogIn is an easy to use blog solution that can be used out of the box, enabling employees to share ideas, news, knowledge, suggestions and so on in a blog space.

3. Basecamp

This project management app can be accessed either on your phone or in a web browser and enables you to set tasks, create a schedule, upload files and documents, chat with colleagues or send messages. It is particularly useful when teams are virtual or its members are comprised of representatives from a range of organizations.

4. Trello

Trello is a tool that is especially useful for project management and keeping track of and remembering tasks. You can create different boards with tasks that contain tasks and assign these to team members. The cards can easily be moved around.
